InterviewOps Chrome Extension

Our optional Chrome Extension allows you to capture job posting information directly from your browser and save it to your InterviewOps account. The extension requires you to be authenticated to associate the captured data with your account. The data collected via the extension is treated with the same level of privacy and security as data you enter directly on our website and is subject to all terms in this policy.

Google Calendar Integration

You have the option to sync your Google Calendar with InterviewOps. This feature is designed to give you a complete overview of your schedule by displaying your personal events alongside your interview and deadline dates.

• Optional Feature: Syncing your calendar is entirely optional. The core features of InterviewOps work without it.
• Read-Only Access: If you choose to connect your calendar, we will request read-only permission. Our application cannot create, modify, or delete any events in your Google Calendar.
• Data Usage: Your calendar data is used exclusively to display your events within the calendar view inside the InterviewOps application. We do not store, sell, share, or use this data for any other purpose, including advertising or analytics. Your calendar information remains private and is only fetched for display when you use the calendar feature.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and provide you with the features and functionality of InterviewOps. Specifically, we use your data to:

• Personalize your experience within the application.
• Track your job applications and their progress.
• Power AI features, such as generating email drafts and summarizing notes. All AI processing is done securely and your data is not used for training models.
• Improve the application and develop new features.

Data Storage and Security

All of your data is stored securely on Google Cloud's Firebase platform. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Security is enforced using Firebase's robust security rules to ensure that only you can access your own data.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not, and will not, sell or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or any other purposes. Your data is yours. The only time your data is used is to provide the services offered by InterviewOps directly to you.
